Neighbourhood Connections

This is a community project that aims to help people live happy, healthy and independent lives in Horsley.
Come and talk to a Neighbourhood Connections volunteer at Horsley Medical Practice 2-4pm Wednesday and Friday.
To book an appointment please speak to a receptionist or call: 01483 284151
Neighbourhood Connections’ trained volunteers can provide a listening ear, information and advice about local support and activities, such as local transport, groups, household help, statutory services and more.
This is not a medical service; it’s a way to address social and practical needs and to help make connections between you and support services that may be relevant to you.
Please see www.cofeguildford.org.uk/neighbourhoodconnections for more information about the project.

Horsley Hub

This new community social enterprise horsleyhub.com is packed full of information on activities for kids, family days out, and what’s on.  It has heaps of information and resources on health and emotional wellbeing, both for children and adults including those with additional needs.

There is a timetable of local fitness and exercises classes and if you run your own business you can list your services on the business directory for free.

The website is linked with the Horsley Hub Facebook page which posts offers and events. You can ask to join the Horsley Hub Facebook group or follow us on Twitter @HorsleyHub or Instagram @horsleyhub2017

Constructive feedback and suggestions as to what you’d like to be included and what improvements can be made are welcomed. Contact here.

Horsleys Community Fund

The Horsleys Community Fund, established in 2010, is a significant and exciting local initiative building a charitable fund specifically for the benefit of the Horsleys and its residents. By working in partnership with the Community Foundation of Surrey we have established a permanent fund that enables and encourages local giving so that as villages we can develop a greater capacity to respond to local concerns now and in the future. Grants are awarded by a panel of local people to support vulnerable local residents, improve local facilites, increase access to clubs activities and sports and preserve and enhance the villages’ heritage, culture and environment.

If you would like to donate to the fund, or know of a local need which would benefit from a grant, or receive our newsletter, please contact us. Email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or call 01483 281755
