Herds for Change

Pub goers popping into The Duke of Wellington are being asked to put their change from buying a round - or any cash they can spare – towards Herds for Change, a project aimed at delivering vital and sustainable change in the Mara, Kenya.

The pub is aiming to raise the money to buy a breeding herd of bulls and cows for the Enonkishu community in the Mara, which will support the community and livelihoods of local families.

It's part of the work of the Peach Foundation, a non-profit organisation set up by the pub's parent company Peach to help safeguard the long-term future of the Mara and its people, as well as support good causes closer to home.

So pop in to The Duke for a drink and support a worthy charity.
