South Western Railway have confirmed that the strike action due to affect their network next week has been suspended by the trade unions involved. They welcome this decision. At a time of national mourning, they are united with the rest of the railway family in sending their condolences to His Majesty The King and the whole Royal Family.
Their plan is to reinstate a normal service for the days which would have been affected by the strikes. They are also working through what further changes might be required as part of preparations to help the nation commemorate the Queen.
