About volunteering

Have you considered volunteering?

Volunteering is the act of giving your time and skills to help others or a cause without expecting payment. It can be a way to give back to your community, develop new skills, meet new people and can be very rewarding.

  • Undertaking your DoE (Duke of Edinburgh Award)?
  • Going back to work and need to improve your CV?
  • Wanting to keep fit?
  • Want to make new friends?
  • Have an interest in your village?

We have various opportunities in the Parish that would enable you to volunteer. We run a number of Task Groups that meet monthly or quarterly to discuss matters that affect the village. These are an opportunity for residents to be involved in practical work that benefits the community. If you are interested in taking part in a particular group don't hesitate to get in touch with the Parish Clerk for more information: This email address is being protected from spambots.
