Tours of Horsley Towers

Tours of Horsley Towers

Designed in the 1820s by Sir Charles Barry, architect for the Houses of Parliament, Horsley Towers was acquired by William King, aka Lord Lovelace, and extensively remodelled using funds from the family of Ada Lovelace, daughter of Lord Byron. Thanks to De Vere, we are able to offer tours of Horsley Towers during the afternoon of 29 June in return for a donation to Cherry Trees Respite Home for Children with Disabilities. Your guide will tell you the story of this fascinating building and your visit will include the Great Hall, the cloisters, the astonishing chapel and many other interesting places, each with a fascinating story to tell. Tours last around 45 minutes and spaces are strictly limited.
