Ockham Road South - Surface Water Drains

In case you hadn't already noticed Surrey County Council (SCC) cleaned out the Surface Water manhole adjacent to the library last Thursday. After 12 months, it's no longer leaking! However, the team discovered that it leads to a pipe running behind the library, which is blocked. It's on private land and it's currently unknown where this pipe leads. This is being followed up and we will keep you posted on progress.

The same SCC team were back out on Monday to clear drains between Station Parade and the railway bridge, including the blockage at Station Approach. A separate team have also started work on one of the blockages on Forest Road.

We are very glad to see some progress at last! Hopefully, work on lower sections of Ockham Road South and additional Forest Road blockages will be scheduled soon.
